What’s the difference between a locked and unlocked device?

A device is considered “locked” when it’s limited to operating on a specific carrier’s network, preventing its use on any other service. If your device is locked, you will  be unable to activate your MobileX service with it.

A device not tied to any carrier service is considered “unlocked”, allowing you to use it with any US network, including MobileX.

MobileX now offers a range of unlocked devices suitable for use on any network, including ours. Shop now.
